Description of the record:

This is a double album by “The Jimi Hendrix Experience” called “Electric Ladyland”. This is the 1968 2nd pressing on the Track label catalogue number 613008/9.

Gatefold sleeve:

The gate fold sleeve has been graded as Ex; some minor creasing and edge ware at the open edges.

The sleeve is a 2nd pressing with the white text and the small sepia pictures of Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell. Cover spread has 'unwrapped/floating' gloss laminate applied, matt print areas left exposed at the two cut edges where the albums insert.

Labels:

The labels show spindle ware (see pictures).

Matrix:

Side A: 61300##8A//1

Side B: 613009 A? 2 480

Side C: 613009 B#2 480

Side D: 613008 B ? 2  420

Vinyl:

The records have been pressed in black vinyl and grade as VG; some back ground noise but not obtrusive. Visually the vinyl looks very clean with the odd mark and surface scratch (see pictures). There is a scratch on side C (see picture) that follows the groove of the record causing the needle to jump a groove once followed by 5 clicks after the jump. This is on the track "Long hot Summer night".

The records have been pressed so that side 1 & 4 are on record 1 and sides 2 & 3 are on record 2. This is so that they can be played on a stacking system; sides 1 & 2 play then you flip them over on the stacker and play sides 3 & 4.

Poly lined sleeves:

The poly lined sleeves that come with this record are the original inner sleeves.

The record was graded using a Linn Adikt cartridge combined with a Gyger 2 stylus through an audiophile system. For grading definitions see the bottom of this advert.

Having played the records all the way through I guarantee the person who buys the records will not be disappointed; taking the grading into account. However if the item does not meet with the customers expectation then a full refund will be given if the item is returned in the same condition as it was sent. The refunding of postage and packaging will depend on the nature of the dissatisfaction.

Packaging:

The records will be packaged appropriately to prevent any damage from occurring during transit. Sealed records are not tampered with; if the records are not sealed then the following steps are taken. Records are removed from the outer sleeve to prevent damage occurring to the records or outer sleeve during transit. If records are housed in customised inner sleeves then the records are removed from the customised inner sleeves and placed in white inner sleeves. This prevents damage occurring to the customised inners sleeves such as seam splits and ring ware during transit.

Posting times:

Items will be posted the next working day after payment has been received or cleared.

Combining Postage & Packaging:

If more than one item is purchased, where possible, postage and packaging will be combined to give the cheapest and most appropriate postal option.

Definitions for Record Grading:

M = Mint

M sleeve: No wear of any kind to the sleeve.

M record: No wear what so ever to the record. Any mint records in this collection will have been played only a handful of times.

Ex = Excellent

Ex sleeve: Some slight wear to the cover; some impression to the cover; no seam splits.

Ex record: Minimal wear; some scuffs; record plays close to perfect.

VG = Very Good

VG sleeve: Some ageing; minor wear to seams or spine; minor creasing, some impression.

VG record: Some surface scratching; some back ground noise but not obtrusive.

Gd = Good

Gd sleeve: Cover in poor condition; seam splits; tears.

Gd record: Surface scratching; back ground noise is obtrusive.
