Grading is always subjective especially for a record that is over 50 years old but I will do my best to give you as accurate a description that I can. From my own personal collection bought new on release as a Jimi fan and treasured ever since. Record is bright and shiny. Vinyl around this time seemed to be so much thicker then now. Has some very light marks on vinyl but on playback with some surface noise on lead ins and the quiet parts but still sounds amazing for a disk over 50 years old. Some light storage marks on cover but nothing major and again would rate as very good. Using the Goldmine Standard for grading I have graded the album as VERY GOOD.*
Goldmine Very Good - Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise
First press of gatefold sleeve, featuring the controversial image (censored by some outlets at the time) of naked ladies on front/back.
Discerning characteristics of this version:
Cover spread is fully laminated inside and out
Hendrix on the right hand side when opening the gatefold (behind back sleeve).
Small sepia images of Redding & Mitchell on left (Front cover behind it), with white tracks/credit text below them. "Track Record" logo centre, Erratic use of upper & lower-case in titles.
NO printing to the left of the Track logo inside the gatefold.
Discs in poly-lined white paper punch-hole sleeves. "Patent no 800513 & 973939" 
Disc 1 carries sides A and D, disc two has B and C.
All of the runout numbers have scratching outs and hand amendments. On disc 2, side C the entire machine-stamped run-out has been scratched out and the correct info has been added by hand.
