Description

Killer 2-sided Rockabilly single from 1956 by this great trio. This is probably the greatest 2-sided Rockabilly single of all time. "Train kept a Rollin'" which was later covered by and provided the blueprint for; The Yardbirds and then Aerosmith. The other side, "Honey Hush" is equally great with a lot of the same sounds. Both songs on the single feature Johnny's hiccupping and growling vocals, along with Burlison's unique sounds on his Fender Telecaster, with Dorsey slapping that bass. Johnny Burnette, the lead singer would later go on to have a very good solo career. His brother Dorsey, the Standup Bass player, would also go on to have a successful solo career. Paul Burlison was a great guitarist who also went on playing solo and with others.
Label: there is a small sticker on the "Honey Hush' side, and the other side is clean (See Pics). Record: VG+, both sides have a few light marks, which do not interfere with the play at all. No skips, no repeats. Plays very, very well.
