Description

Up for auction is a mint US 1st pressing of The Kinks - Arthur (Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire). The LP is in absolutely mint condition having only ever been played a couple of times on a ClearAudio turntable.  
I purchased this still sealed a number of years ago. Interestingly the LP cover has a Compliments of Motorola sticker that was under the cellophane.  I am not sure of the significance of this.
The cover is in NM condition and includes the original  picture of Queen Victoria insert often missing from early pressings.  The picture insert has the lyrics on one side. It is in Mint condition with original folds. You can see from the picture above that the original white inner sleeve yellowed slightly around the Queen picture.
Also included is a 1st US pressing While Label promotional copy of Arthur.  The WLP LP is in Excellent+ condition and plays superbly. The WLP LP was purchased separately without a cover.  Both LPs have the same matrix numbers.
