The Kinks - Kink Controversy - Vinyl LP - Sealed - 1980 (?) Reissue PYE Records - NPL 18131 - 1965/1980 - Retail Collector's Item!
Shrink wrap is low production mode (hand machine) with store sales sticker, "ALSO AVAILABLE IN CASSETTE" sticker.  Shrink has two holes as shown in pics. Please examine pics closely.

This LP is a bit of a mystery. I went to England in late 1978 on a collecting trip, but I don't remember acquiring this specific LP. Originally pressed in England /Europe in 1965-1969, it was also re-released in 1980 with the same cover.  European LPs in the 60's and 70's were not shrinked unless they were brought to the US or were shrinked in the stores.  This LP was definitely shrinked in a low production mode. Falling Rock Records was a store and label started in 1977. The added "Also Available On Cassette" label seems to say this is an original pressing, as by 1980, CDs were replacing cassettes.

Update: After doing further research, I have decided to call this version an authorized reissue from around 1980.  Not sure how I acquired it.  The cover construction is different than what I have seen of copies of this album where I could actually check the the matrix markings.  May possibly be an original 1965 pressing from outside of England.  Unable to tell without opening it.
