Selling-up my extensive record collection. Lots of interesting records in the collection - do have a look at my other items, and there are new listings every week. I may have obscure things that you didn't even know you wanted!
Here's an original mono Kinks album from 1965. Cover is surprisingly good, record looks scratchy but plays OK.

Cover - is very good, front laminated with flip-backs. Opening has been protected with Sellotape, which is still well attached, and has indeed protected the raw edge of the cover. Front shows some scallop creases, slight old bends to both bottom corners, and cracks in from the edges, as we usually see. Back could hardly be better - little cracks in the lamination on the flip-backs, as usual, and very small damages to top and bottom right corners. Spine and edges are very nice.
Record - Visual inspection first, then a play-test. This looks in typical sixties beaten-up condition. First thing to mention, is a chip out of the edge - only on side two, and only on the lead-in grooves - but extending across nearly all of the lead-in. Side one has quite a lot of short scratches, a particularly noticeable one (visually) at end of track 1. Some surface scratches too. On side two, various scratches - a lot of light surface ones, plus noticeable scratches / marks along the grooves, especially on tracks 4 and 5. There's a long fingernail-type mark extending from track 3 to the label.  I have played this, good and loud, on my posh hi-fi. It didn't skip any grooves, or stick at any point. Listening to side one, there are some individual clicks on track one - a rowdy version of "Milk Cow Blues", and a lot of crackling on track 2, which is mostly acoustic guitars. Crackles and clicks reduce as the side goes along, some nice clear spells. On side two, occasional crackles in the first track, and crackles here-and-there after that. The Kinks sound like themselves, the original sound is still on there, not worn-out and not scratched-to-death. Having played it once for the play-test, I played it again, as I enjoyed it! 
Any original copy of this is expensive, and this one has very nice cover and a playable record.
When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.
Postage at cost within UK - £3.00 plus 50p for a proper record mailer with two stiffener sheets of cardboard (or whatever's appropriate). Happy to do combined postage wherever practical. I'll charge you what it costs me - so anything up to six (or so) LPs would still be the same charge, £3.50. I'm happy to send this overseas. See below for details, if bidding from outside UK - YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS STUFF.
Dispatch will usually be "next day".
Collection in person is welcome. I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.
They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.
This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.  
E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery and customs charges are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges individually for the items, then do not bid. HOWEVER, if you win several items, and pay for them all in the same payment, their system may well spot this and do combined postage. If this happens, pay what you're told, and I will refund the excess postage paid to me - if you buy three LPs, I would be getting three lots of £3.50, but I can send all in one parcel, so I only need one lot of £3.50, usually. The exception is, if the items you buy weigh more than 2 kilos altogether, I need to make two parcels - there is a special cheap postage rate in UK, for parcels under 2 kilos. Overseas customers - please DON'T request an invoice - I can't make one, and it screws-up the e-bay system.
International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.
If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid.

Applicable customs charges will probably be shown to buyers in non-EU countries - E-Bay collects customs duty for the receiving country, wherever import duty is appropriate. If you don't want to pay the customs charges, do not bid.
I don't send to China (because I prefer not to), and I also don't send to Japan, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru, as importation of vinyl records is not permitted in their customs regulations.
