DescriptionHere for sale is a very rare first studio pressing of the fantastic Kinks LP The Village Preservation Society on the Pye Records Label. The vinyl and labels are in very good condition. There is one visible scratch on Side 1 over tracks 1-3 that may cause some very minor background noise. Side 2 has a few very light scratches but nothing to interfere with play. I would grade Side 1 as VG/VG+ Side 2 as VG+/EX on a visual grading. The gate-fold album cover has some laminate creasing and some very minor tears (see photos) but it is structurally sound,
The LP is presented in a heavyweight plastic sleeve to protect it.
The record matrix is as follows:-
- Matrix / Runout (Side A runout, stamped): NSPL 18233A-3 ?T STEREO
- Matrix / Runout (Side B runout, stamped): NSPL 18233B-4 ?T STEREO
Please note: The majority of vinyl we sell is sold on another specialist vinyl web-site. All our vinyl is visually graded as we do not have the facility or time to play test them. I have many years experience of grading vinyl as I sell vinyl myself. Anyone claiming that they are not happy with our grading will be asked to return the LP for a refund. We do not offer partial refunds under any circumstances based on a buyers subjective opinion on gradings.
