This superb 1st MONO pressing dates from initial November 1968 release on the blue PYE label: NPL.18233

Housed in an outer-laminated, inner-flipover gatefold mono cover, complete with original poly lined inner-sleeve.


CONDITION

Disc: EXCELLENT

A first-class sounding example of this wonderful album which has received a moderate amount of careful play on quality equipment but retains sparkling, unworn sound quality throughout.
Both playing surfaces are clean & retains all of their deep-gloss shine with the only noticeable visible blemish being a light turntable ring mark on side 2 which does not affect sound or play in any way. In fact, apart form a trace of low-level vinyl background between tracks and on the few quieter passages, there is little to fault on this enjoyable sounding disc.  

Cover: EXCELLENT -

A respectable example of this extremely fragile cover which retains excellent colour & gloss all-round. The only major issue is a contemporary repair of a tear to the bottom edge of the front leaf, which we have left in-place. However the rest of that delicate panel has sharp, unworn edges and is free form nay 'thumbnails' or any other creasing. Both panels inside are clean & unmarked with the only damage being a tiny 3mm tear to the lower hinge. The rear panel is as clean & glossy as the front with a little laminate lift towards the upper right corner but a fully worded and undamaged spine.
