This great sounding copy of their debut LP is a UK 1st mono pressing dating from initial October 1964 release
It is on the vibrant pink & black PYE Records label: NPL.10896
Matrix numbers: NN 1096 -A2T & NN 1096B-4S
Stamper codes: AAAAG/1 & F/2
Disc weight: 175g
Housed within a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover, complete with its original blue & white rice-paper lined PYE advertising inner-sleeve.

Both are clean & vibrant with a moderate collection of spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely clean playing surfaces which retain all of their factory shine. The only significant visual blemishes are a few small marks on side 2 but these are not audible. However, closer inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveal little more than some harmless inner-sleeve removal hairlines together with a sparkling rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This copy has received careful play on quality equipment only and the sound is perfectly clean & totally unworn throughout with no trace of any groove/playwear distortion or background interference. My single careful play-check at volume was a joy and found no audible distraction so faults whatsoever.
Cover: EXCELLENT -
A highly respectable example of this striking cover which retains a completely unscratched high-gloss front laminate where the only traces of wear are two tiny 'thumbnail' wrinkles. There is light wear to the corner tips but no heavy bumps or bruising to any and both opening edges are unworn. The easily blemished exposed rear panel is overall clean & white with slight toning towards the mouth but free from any writing or missing paper.
There is a 1cm stress on the upper seam and a tiny scuff on the upper flipback but the spine spine is clean & fully worded.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Minor storage bends but no writing, tears or seam splits.
