The Levellers: Levellers (Self titled 3rd LP)
You don't get many of these around these days....This isn't the recent reissue vinyl released this year, but the original UK first pressing purchased by me after I saw them headline the Glastonbury festival 26 years ago in 1993. Released in an era when CDs were becoming by far the dominant format, these records weren't pressed in great numbers. It has been very well looked after as part of my personal record collection ever since and kept in a plastic sleeve protector which I will send with it. Its still in lovely condition for a 26 year old record, with no seam splits to the sleeves and still with a nice readable spine with only very mild handling wear. Please take the time to scroll through all the photos to get a clear idea of the great condition of this LP, I've photographed the sleeves, plus both sides of the record, labels and a close up of the vinyl on each side.
The vinyl itself is in great condition retaining a nice sheen. I have just wet cleaned it in my professional record cleaning machine with the award winning L'art du Son cleaning fluid so it is now in the best possible condition for the next owner to enjoy. I have test played both sides all the way through on my Project Debut Carbon turntable fitted with an Ortefon 2M Blue stylus and it sounds excellent, much better than the original CD that had a somewhat muddy production sound to it. The record sits perfectly flat on the deck and plays through beautifully with barely any surface noise, but that occasional warm crackle is exactly why we love the sound of vinyl.
