Description

The London Jazz Four Take A New Look At The Beatles LP

1967 mono album on Polydor featuring cool jazz versions of Fab Four songs. Some of the versions are quite loose - From Me To You is slowed down to about 1/6 of its original tempo and improvised around to the extent that it's barely recognisable.

Unfortunately the vinyl is only VG. There are some marks, crackles and I even got some light distortion on my Ortofon 530/Rega R200 cart/arm combination. Nothing is ruinously distracting and a dedicated mono cartridge would likely make a better job of it but if you're looking for Mint, keep looking.

The sleeve is also VG, it's good on the front but grubby on the back and a bit worn at the edge.
