Description
The NW band that started it all. Heavy influence on NIRVANA, MUDHONEY and the rest. This is the MELVINS third of the great trio of lps they did for the major label ATLANTIC / MAMMOTH RECORDS. There 9th (or so) full length release overall. The album is called "STAG" and came out in 1996 (Atlantic, Mammoth Records - 82878-1). An absolute monster of a release on original Atlantic Vinyl.
From my personal collection, I bought it new in '96. The beautiful, NM vinyl looks and sounds amazing. It's only been played a couple times, including checking it out just now while I'm listing it here. The cover is a very strong VG+ still in the original shrink wrap. It has one minor corner bend/crease that you can see in the closeup photo, otherwise near perfect. Includes the original insert.
