Description
Perhaps the ONLY "YELLOW" Cover copy for sale - NOT to be confused with the less RARE & less VALUABLE "Jukebox" or "Person" Covers, both the same number - 541 - as this one. VinylBeat prices this RARIST of the MIDNIGHTER'S releases at $500. Mine starts at ONLY $39.99 !! - Don't pass up this RARE opportunity to own this RARE piece of musical history, an addition to any vinyl collection.
I've played this copy with much joy. My Technics player pretty much ignored the visible marks, hair-line, wispy ones, apparently more on side 1. I could suddenly hear the ROOTS of so much of what came later and what today lacks in soul - truly a classic R & B moment. It transports you to a place where the light background noise is as natural sounding as the smoke from an outside grill - a welcomed element. The Federal Label on side 2 looks pretty decent with but a few spindle arks, while side 1 label has wear where the "HI-FI" letters were. The cover has a "PAID" stamp on back, some small ink writing at upper top back, and some discoloration, as is natural with aged white covers. The top of the cover has an approx. 8.5" strip of clear tape. It's wear is not unusual for its age. I've listed item with multiple pics complete with ZOOM to offer a forthright representation of RARE collectible - the pics are my description - Rare item as seen as is. Will ship in protective cardboard Mailer ASAP. Thanks.
