Description
The Mars Volta, Octahedron (2009), 2x White vinyl (RLP008).
Only played a few times and kept in a protective sleeve which sports the original sticker from the cellophane (sleeve will be included, though the album will shipped in a brand new sleeve). The LPs are in Near Mint condition and sound superb. This is a very clear and dynamic pressing by Rodriguez Lopez Productions of The Mars Volta’s fifth record. The artwork is also incredible and the cover includes gloss finished detailing in addition to the matt background.
The gatefold is generally in excellent condition, but there is some minor bashing/creasing to three of the corners on the front and two of the corners, along with a very slight crease, midway near the spine, on the back (See pictures). Inside the gatefold, the record is again in excellent condition, bar some minor bashing on the bottom corners.
The sleeves are again in excellent condition bar some minor wear. They display more of the album’s abstract artwork pieces on the front and back. Sleeve 1 has some very minor wear to the top left and rights corners on one side and a small seam split in the middle of one edge (see pics). Sleeve 2 also has some minor wear on two corners on one side and a bit of wear near the bottom left corner. The other side of sleeve 2 also has some wear on two corners.
The album will be shipped with a brand new outer protective sleeve and two brand new poly-lined record sleeves (in addition to the originals). The LP will be packaged properly in a vinyl mailer for maximum protection.
