The Melvins Houdini US LP :

(1993) Amphetamine Reptile Records AMREP 5321 13Track LP Limted Edition (5,000 Copies Only).

Houdini released by The Melvins released in 1993. It is regarded as one of the band's more accessible records. Melvins were one of Kurt Cobain's favorite bands; he is given co-production credit alongside the Melvins on six tracks. Cobain played guitar on "Sky Pup" right-handed on a right-handed guitar even though Cobain was left-handed.

The back cover is an illustration of the band with drummer Dale Crover on the left, bassist Lori "Lorax" Black (daughter of Shirley Temple Black) in the middle, and guitarist/vocalist Buzz "King Buzzo" Osborne on the right.Vinyl copies include a cover of "Rocket Reducer No. 62 (Rama Lama Fa Fa Fa)", originally by the MC5, instead of Spread Eagle Beagle.

 

Cover:
The picture sleeve is in VG++ condition, It shows some very minor wear inside the gatefold (see pic) and also at the middle edge on the bottom fo the back cover.Please see pics for detail. A very nice cover indeed!

 

Inner Sleeve: The inner picture sleeve has no defects to be noted.

 

LP:

The LP itself is in NM- condition and retains its original luster. Visually inspected in bright light.The are no defects to be noted here.  A wonderful copy that would be a great addition to any collection!
