If you're looking at this you probably know this, but back in 1996 the Melvins issued a single a month, limited to 800 copies of each on colored vinyl, in a gorgeous embossed sleeve of a metallic ink skull printed on different color stocks for each month. The tracks were listed on the back on a sticker. These were all snapped up pretty quickly, and despite being rereleased on a CD the packaging (and the music, of course) keeps the demand up on these; someone sold a complete set of 12 recently for around $800, but that's a) INSANE and b) kind of a drag for those looking to fill in slots of an incomplete collection. So I'm selling all mine one by one. This is for single #4, a cover of Flipper's "Way Of The World"and a cover of Clown Alley's "Theme". It is in MINT condition, purchased on release and stored perfectly ever since. You're not likely to find a copy in better shape. I've been collecting records for about 25 years and worked in very good record stores for a not insignificant percentage of those years. I have thousands and thousands of them, and have probably sold as many as I've bought. In other words, I know what I'm doing and am not going to screw you over. I do not sell them lightly, and hope they go to someone as pathetically, pathologically and girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse-infuriatingly obsessed with them as I am. I pack well and insist on any problems with the transaction being solved by the responsible party. I combine shipping, am happy to ship internationally, and charge a reasonable rate that probably won't even cover my real shipping costs but I figure we all think it's too damned expensive so I'll split the difference with you because that's just how great of a guy I am. In order to avoid such problems, I recommend asking pertinent questions in advance. Stupid questions will be responded to in the voice of the Muppet Show's Swedish Chef. I am increasingly open to selling off parts of my collection, so if there's something you've been looking for, send your inquiries and want lists this way and I will try to put those items up for auction as well.
