Very Good Plus (VG+) Record may have a few minor marks or surface scuffs. Still a very nice record.

 

Very Good (VG) Record will have light scratches, groove wear is evident on sight. There's some flaws to this record.

 

Good (G) Record still plays through without skipping, but has significant surface noise and groove wear, the label might be worn, the cover might have ringwear, heavy writing or other obvious damage.
