You are bidding on The Mothers of Invention vinyl LP "Freak Out" On Verve Records. We are an auction house, so all our listings use the auction style versus buy it now. Since I am not a record grader, I have posted pictures of the album (the cover, front back and the center gatefold), the inner sleeves, and the records. These pictures help show the quality of the album you are bidding on. I also use what i call observational notes to describe the three major areas. Here are the observational notes: The album cover both the front and the back covers show the album ring from storage over the past decades, it still has shine, there is also a small area os shel wear; the inner sleeves show wear from when the he record was taken out of the cover and one of the sleeves has an opening at the bottom where the record has worn through (approximately 2 inches); and the pictures I took are from a couple of different angles so the light hits it differently, three of the sides are clean with no wear showing and one side has a minor wear mark. I provide this information so there are no surprises when the record arrives at your home after your high bid. I take great care in packing the albums. I will take the records out of the inner sleeves and place them in new ones so the records do not damage the cover in its trip from the Post Office. I place card board on each side of the album to provide stability in transit and I use boxes specifically made for record albums to ship. I securely pack and ship within 48 hours of payment posting to PayPal (except on weekends since the Post Office has limited hours of service).
