Description
Vintage Music Machine LP in mono on the Original Sound label up for sale. The record has many popular hits done by the band. The Los Angeles band's versions of Neil Diamond's "Cherry Cherry" and of the Beatles "Taxman" hold up great. The also had a top 20 hit with "Talk Talk" also on this LP. Bassist Keith Olsen went on to become a producer, with his crowning jewel probably being the 1975 mega-seller Fleetwood Mac LP which was the coming out party for Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nick. I believe he also produced the Buckingham Nicks album. The LP was engineered by Paul Buff who had sold his studio to one Frank Zappa which was located in Rancho Cucamonga and later briefly named Studio Z. Okay back to the record, it is what I would call VG+ to VG++ for a record of this age! The jacket has some light wear (no rips, tears or splits), and there is a number 3 written in the top left corner. The inner sleeve is original, and shows breakdown due to it's age. I will place the LP in a new sleeve for shipment, but include the original sleeve. You will be hard pressed to find an original Music Machine LP in this overall condition!
