Take The Long Road And Walk It

Mint condition copy of this 7" super-limited edition (1000 copies) debut single

**Please note - this is the ORIGINAL release of the single, and not the subsequent re-recording**

 

The Music were a breath of fresh air to the UK music scene when they arrived in 2001. Filling the gap left wide open by The Stone Roses, their entrancing blend of beats and guitars left many critics and fans feeling they could be the future of the British music industry.

Take The Long Road And Walk It was later re-recorded and released again as a single, and as part of the band's debut album. However, this is a limited edition copy of the original release. Backed by The Walls Get Smaller, a massive-sounding live favourite, it comes in a hand-numbered (839 of 1000) outer sleeve, with an inner sleeve holding the record itself (see photos). The single has been stored in a plastic sleeve since purchase and is in mint condition.

 

The band are currently working on their third album and this rarity is sure to rise drastically in value when they return the scene. Eil.com, regarded by many as THE place to go for rare and deleted records, are currently selling their last copy of this single for £60.00. I'm selling my copy at such a low price in the hope of a quick sale.
