Description

"Montage" / "Fairground Man" is a single released by the British band The Nocturnes in 1968. The single features the songs "Montage" and "Fairground Man" and was released on Columbia (EMI) with the catalog number DB 8493. It is categorized under the Psychedelic Pop genre. The single was part of a period where The Nocturnes released an album and three UK singles, but none of them charted. Lyn Paul, who later gained fame with the New Seekers, was a member of The Nocturnes at this time and sang lead on "Montage".

Extremely rare, highly-sought after demo/promo released in 1968, in the UK. My mom worked at a London TV studio in the 1960s and would often receive promo and marketing materials for movies and music acts promoting their work on-air, which is how she received this copy. This title was NEVER released with an original cover and will, therefore, be delivered in a premium quality generic sleeve.
