"The Obelisk" by Clutch is a special edition box set vinyl released in October 2020 under the record label BMG and Weathermaker Music. This limited edition box set features 12 vinyl releases making for 16 records total. 3 of these records are picture discs. This massive collectors box set is a must-have for fans of the band and vinyl enthusiasts alike, offering a unique and exclusive addition to any music collection.

Ok, here are the details on this specific set I have up for sale. This is a very nice set of 12 albums with 16 vinyls total. I have opened 6 albums and the other 6 are still sealed. Photo 6 are the sealed albums. Photo 7 are the opened albums that I have listened to a few times total.

Please note the pics with the clear covers with the albums stickers I made pics of. I did not like pulling the vinyls out of these floppy clear sleeves so I cut the right side of these. I then put the picture disks in a light sleeve, then a stiff black sleeve with holes in the center. I put the black covers inside the cut clear original sleeves. I really felt like pulling these picture discs out of the crap original vinyl sleeve was not good for the records. To me the music matters more than the floppy sleeve. If you feel the same you understand. If this bothers you this probably isn’t a good vinyl set for you.

The outer case is in very good shape. It is not mint. It came to me new this way. There is a dink in the bottom front left corner. I have a closeup of this with my finger as a mark to see it quickly. Some pics show what looks like light spots on the case. This is actually dust and should wipe down fine.

The slip mat pictured is in great shape.

The autograph card (abut the size of a 12 inch vinyl) shows some minor softening of 2 corners on the upper and bottom left side. Detailed pics are included. There is some wear of the black color on the card stock. This came out of the box this way. When the card was packaged it was slid between vinyls and must have had friction in shipping. These sets were sold in 2020. I got this new in 2024 from an independent vinyl shop. Just wanting to share as many details as possible here so there are no surprises and the buyer is ultimately satisfied.

Please inspect pics as they tell the best story about this item. All vinyls play through with no skips. Vinyls have no scratches or scuffs.
