Atlantic Records Catalog # 7 81762-1, 1987. All the classics you could ask for in one box. To hear Otis was/is to love him. Original LPs in Near Mint condition (played twice). Packaging in Very Good+ condition. Includes original booklet. Minor issue with booklet: on back of booklet I made handwritten notes to myself for future reference about applying noise reduction to excess master tape hiss. Interestingly, I no longer detect such an issue! These records sound fine to me now. Otherwise booklet is in excellent condition. LPs in soft poly inner sleeves. Otis's version of "Merry Christmas Baby" is unsurpassed. And of course "I've Been Loving You Too Long," "Respect," "Shake," "Sad Song," etc. are all included on this set. If you have never seen Otis's performance in the movie documentary of the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival, you ain't lived! Sadly, Otis himself only lived another six months or so after that, killed in an airplane crash. Otis will live forever in our hearts.
