All records purchased from me will be sent securely via royal mail in sturdy mailers specifically designed to hold vinyl records and I will never charge on postage. I will endeavour to despatch all purchased items within 24 hours or purchase, however, please allow up to 3 days for postage.
I recently acquired a collection of 12" LP Vinyl Records from a collector, however, I am not a collector myself nor have I ever owned a vinyl record before these. Therefore, I am unfamiliar with any professional grading scale used today. Because of this I am using my own grading scale for this particular collection of records (see below for details). I acquired over 150 albums so I have not been able to listen to every album in full but I have tested at least one song on each and they all play fine with minimal to no cracking at all.
Vinyl condition description. Mint/New - Absolutely perfect condition in every way. Near Mint - Almost as if never played (at most a couple of hairline scratches and no warping ). Very Good - A tiny bit of damage only noticeable under a light (some hairline scratches and possibly a tiny bit of warping - nothing too significant). Good - Some obvious damage (a lot of hairline scratches and some warping). Poor - A lot of damage, very obvious (a lot of hairline scratches, some heavy/deep scratches and/or a lot of warping) --- It is very unlikely I will sell a record in this condition.
Case condition description Mint/New - Absolutely perfect condition in every way. Near Mint - Very little damage to the outer case (at most a few tiny scratches and minimal to no discoloration). Very Good - A Small amount of damage to the outer case (a bit of wear around the edges, some scratches, a small amount of discoloration - nothing too major). Good - A fair bit of damage to the outer case (quite a bit of wear around the edges, a lot of small scratches or a few significant scratches and possibly a tiny bit of tearing, a fair amount of discoloration). Poor - A lot of damage (lots of wear to the edges, lots of scratches, lots of discoloration - it's very unlikely I will sell anything in this condition).
