About This Auction. Hi there. Please see the details about this and other very special rare vinyl records that I am offering here on E-bay. I dunno why I am doing this . . . but as my vinyl friends know, I do not like to waste my time or your time auctioning items that are common. Please read on and make sure you check out my other LPs I will put up for sale over the next couple of days. About This Record: At auction here is an original copy of the Plastic Cloud's sole LP from Canada on Allied Records 10 from 1969. It is a really really important and essential psych garage LP. It belongs in your collection! CHECK my feedback. Close to a keeper copy, but for the tear on the cover and 10 seconds of ticks on one song; otherwise I would have kept it but I finally found a nicer copy after all these years. The Insert: Is a photocopy of the original (sorry). The Cover: The cover would be near mint except that there is the usual price sticker damage in the top right corner that appears on 2/3 of these. Guess that makes it VG because of the tear? (I do not use EX). About 2/3 (I think) had price stickers pasted over them instead of the shrink wrap. When the prior owner attempted to remove the price sticker, the cover was torn. But still not bad, but for the tear it would be near mint. See my detailed scans at the end of this ad. The Vinyl: The vinyl is close to near mint except that there is a short scratch on side one on the first song that has a slight tick for about 10 revolutions. There are also a few clicks and pops here and there, as in all copies. Quite nice. Remember, this record is fully guaranteed and returnable for a full refund if for some strange reason you are not satisfied. The detailed scans help ensure that you know what you are buying (and that I know you are returning the same item, if necessary for some strange reason). The Labels. The labels of the record are in close to near mint condition, practically unplayed. The labels are pressed on center and have no factory defects (off-center or cc'ed label). *My Grading Policy: I do NOT use the grade EX (or EX+, or EX-). I use G/G+/VG-/VG/VG+/M-/sealed. To elaborate, while I use VG+ (which seems to be EX to EX+ for those who use EX), I do not use the grade VG+(+) or VG+(-). As my feedback reflects, I am a conservative grader and I offer a full refund if you are not satisfied. When play-grading my records, I use my vintage Rockport Sirius turntable with a new Benz Ruby 3 cartridge. Postage: I strongly prefer to send priority mail. I insist upon return receipt. That means postage for you is $6.55 on the East Cost, and comparably less on the West Coast and everywhere else inbetween. For items purchased over $100 (which should be almost every item), I insist upon insurance. But I’ll split the cost of the insurance with you.
