The Platters Vinyl LP Original 1957 Federal (G) Condition Record (VG/VG+) Jacket.
Super rare copy of The Platters Self-titled debut from '57. The jacket is nice and sturdy and in great shape for such an old record. Has some light wear and a few noticeable marks, also an old price tag on the back. Please inspect the pictures closely. I'd rate the jacket somewhere between VG/VG+.
The record has quite a few scratches and marks and plays with significant noise. Could definitely benefit from a cleaning but I can't guarantee that would fix the noise issue. Please listen to the attached video, the noise is most noticeable on the first track and does get a bit better later into the album. Didn't notice any skips but plenty of surface noise and an occasional pop. This is a great display copy but if you're getting it to listen to I'd keep looking.
