This is a rare 10-inch 78 RPM shellac record featuring The Platters during their early years on the Federal label. Released in 1954, this disc showcases the group's signature vocal harmonies before they achieved global superstardom. Side A features the catchy doo-wop track 'Voo-Vee-Ah-Bee,' while Side B offers the rhythmic 'Shake It Up Mambo,' illustrating the group's versatility and the era's cross-genre experimentation with Latin rhythms.

Produced during a pivotal moment in R&B history, this Federal Records pressing (catalog number 12198) is a must-have for serious collectors of early vocal groups and 1950s rhythm and blues. The green Federal label with silver print is iconic and highly sought after by vinyl enthusiasts. This original pressing represents a foundational piece of rock and roll history from one of the most successful vocal groups of all time.
