Description

Very rare original 1981 CBS / A&M 2 LP Test Pressing which was given to me many years ago by an ex-marketing staff at A&M Records, Kings Road London
Matrix Record 1  Side A AMLX 64692 A1 (Machine Typed) / A&M SP60119 - A1 INT. (Stencil Hand Written from Stamper) Side B AMLX 64692 B1 (Machine Typed) / A&M SP60119 - B2 INT. (Stencil Hand Written from Stamper)
Matrix Record 2 Side C AMLX 64692 C1 (Machine Typed) / A&M SP60119 - C1 INT. (Stencil Hand Written from Stamper) Side D AMLX 64692 D1 (Machine Typed) / A&M SP60119 - D2 INT. (Stencil Hand Written from Stamper)
The 2 LP Test Pressings come in custom CBS Pressing Plant White Sleeves, with the first LP Sleeve having a CBS Label in the top left corner.
Also enclosed with the 2LP Test Pressings is a handwritten track listing by a staff member at A&M on blue un-headded paper. A&M always use Blue paper for hand written and typed up information to accompany there Test Pressings. Makes this piece more unqiue having hand written credits as this is a one off. (See photos for rack listing on both sides of the blue paper note. Other artists include Toyah, Devo, The Cramps, etc (Full Track Listing below)
Never seen this Test Pressing before on ebay, so good luck to the winning bidder. The commercial copy of this 2LP Test Pressing is featured in the official Police, Gary Numan and XTC discography's  and an essential piece to complete the UK Test Pressing collections of the Police, Gary Numan and XTC, which has been many wants lists for these artists, so I hope it goes to a serious collector of one of the bands on this Test Pressing Set.
Records appear to be unplayed so will class as Mint Condition. Covers are ex+ condition and so are the poly lined inner sleeves. Labels are Mint with large numbers written in black felt tip pen at the pressing plant or someone at A&M when they received it from the CBS Pressing Plant.
