The Police Greatest Hits (Half Speed Remastered)
description detailsFor the 30th To celebrate the anniversary of The Police's "Greatest Hits" album, the British rock icons are reissuing the compilation in 2022 as a limited edition Half Speed Remastered double LP.
The album was remastered at Abbey Road and cut at half speed to ensure the ultimate sound quality. While the first vinyl pressing was only one LP, the reissue comes on two heavy LPs on black vinyl in a gatefold cover. The artwork has been expanded.
The Police's Greatest Hits was originally released in September 1992 as the band's second best-of album after Every Breath You Take: The Singles.
The collection includes all 14 UK Top 20 chart singles released by The Police between 1978 and 1984, including the five UK number one hits "Message In A Bottle", "Walking On The Moon", "Don't Stand So Close To Me«, »Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic« and »Every Breath You Take«, as well as classics like »Roxanne« and »So Lonely«. In addition, the two bonus tracks "The Bed's Too Big Without You" and "Tea In The Sahara" await.
"Greatest Hits" reached number ten in the UK charts. In France and New Zealand, the album even made it to number one.

about us
The year we were founded in 1998 - long after vinyl was declared dead and long before vinyl was hailed as cool again - proves that we are real vinyl nerds. We only started out as a small record dealer from home. Later we opened our first real record shop and then of course our own online shop. Everything with passion and always with the motto: SAVE THE VINYL. What is not available online is available in our Übersee store, Frühlingsweg 22. Overseas? Yes. Übersee Am Chiemsee. Right on the A8 autobahn, between Munich and Salzburg. Here you will also find a fine range of second-hand vinyl. We also have a large selection of equipment from many manufacturers. Simply everything you need for everything to do with vinyl...
