Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played. I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.
- This rare collectible was a very Limited Edition that was released in 1979.
- It is the complete "Reggatta de Blanc" on two 10", 33 RPM vinyl discs.
- It includes an 18"x 27" poster.
- The records have never been played and the poster has never been used. In fact, it had never been unfolded until I took the photo.
- This single piece board cover has tight seams and shows very slight storage wear. The sawcut lower right indicates this was an in-house PROMO. This custom package was a very limited production and Promos were not widely distributed so A&M promo-cut the corners on a few box lots of this title.
- The 2 semi-gloss inner sleeves are solid blue with the Police badge logo.
- This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from A&M in 1979. It has been in storage for 40 years.
