The Police - Zenyatta Mondatta - A&M  AMLH 64831 - Zimbabwe.
This album comes in 2 slightly diff. color variations Cover and different Labels !

                                                            ZIMBABWE CALLING !!!

 

                           I am selling part of my ENORMOUS  ZIMBABWEAN  collection !!!!

                                   Have been collecting since the mid 70’s already.

       Many other rarities from Zimbabwe and ( former Rhodesia)  will be coming up shortly.

 

Vinyl -Records ( and cassettes) were all pressed in tiny quantity for the mainly european

population and once deleted immediately Recycled due to the vinyl/ paper shortages there.

To find a record from Zimbabwe in GOOD condition( without writing on labels / covers  is an absolute rarity nowadays, as many been destroyed ,exposed to the heat, eaten by termites, or recycled, and the Africans make Handbags / souvenirs out of them nowadays.

All my items are VG+ or/ and even better – No writing covers/ labels – and otherwise mentioned.

Records ( LP’s & Singles) were pressed in the former Rhodesia - Matrix reads: Made in S.Rhodesia

After independence ( 1980) singles were pressed with a plain / standard sleeve or Music express cover only – none with a picture sleeve.

Many LP’s were pressed with unique Zimbabwe only covers !

All items were pressed under licence from S.Africa  and most of them with the same cat. No.
