Description

 The Pop Group 7" 'We Are All Prostitutes' 1980

Here for auction is an original copy of The Pop Group's glorious second 7" single. Released on Rough Trade, the item was bought new by Julian Cope in 1980, in Manhattan from Bleecker Bob's Records. The soft rather flimsy original cover exhibits some ringwear from the disc inside, but remains clean and free of blemishes except for the original $2.99 sticker. Both sides have just been played through. The A-side exhibited mild surface noise here and there throughout the record, but no pops, etc, while the B-side is clean throughout (but features a massively over-recorded sound). Brilliant.
