Description

Excellent copy of The Pretty Things 1965 debut LP on Fontana. Classic rhythm and blues/garage rock/'punk 10 years early' from Phil May and the boys, this album still sounds great 55 years on.

The flipback sleeve is just shy of excellent with very minor flaws: a dealer stamp on the back cover, a little corner wear and laminate lift on the front – overall in very decent shape.

The heavyweight vinyl plays great with just the occasional bit of surface noise - nothing significant, and certainly nothing to disturb the audio, which is rich, powerful and clean, as you'd expect from a mid-60s deep groove Fontana pressing. The odd hairline but nothing to frighten the horses at all.

The labels are in good shape with a bit of spindle wear, but again nothing of great note.
Original poly-lined inner sleeve in good order.
Classic debut – and a fine copy. Very collectable band.
