The record as a whole is clean. Still has a glossy surface.
The reason for the lower grading is that the record has noticeably deteriorated in sound in certain areas where there are a handful of small penetrating scratches.
The record plays through well for the most part. Fantastic tracks!
Cosmetically there are some wispy hairline and a few light surface marks which in no way affect the play of the record.
There are however a couple of small marks which do play through on our system but create a little pop or crackle.
Track 1 side 1: two marks less than 6mm in the direction of the grooves.
When we have play tested they have played through fine. No jumps or skips just a little surface noise for a couple of rotations of the track.
Another in track two, a few mm that again plats through with just a little surface noise.
The other is in track is mainly between track 2 & 3 and creates a pop and a little crackle before the track.
Side 2:
3 small marks, one in track 1 / 2 and 3.
All very small, a couple of mm in length but all have a slight feel on the surface.
We have played through them with no skips.
Some surface noise and one does click/ pop for a few revolutions otherwise the record plays well.
Overall the record plays through.
It plays well and sounds good. A few clicks pops and a little surface noise through some of the tracks but a perfectly acceptable copy
If your wanting to own a copy, it makes a good filler.
You can still enjoy the record but just not as good a copy in regards to the audio as others.
Labels are good. A little spindle marking but straight and tidy.
Sleeve: VG+
A straight copy.
Front laminated flipback.
Laminate is good.
A little lift and a couple of creases but no peeling .
Some ring wear/ surface marking with corner wear.
Spine is readable.
A little pen to a couple of corners.
No nasty damage.
A decent sleeve.
Inner sleeve is VG+
A little discolouration/ surface marking but straight and tidy.
