Description

  • Near mint (I don’t rate opened LPs as mint) 1966 stereo Original Soundtrack Recording LP "The Professionals" (COLGEMS COSO-5001) with music composed and conducted by Maurice Jarre.
  • This great recording is on The Absolute Sound (TAS) super disc list for "Film and Broadway Scores of Special Merit".
  • The music has exciting Western themes such as "Hacienda Ole", "Start Of The Quest", "The Escape And Storm" and eleven more. The opening main theme on side one "Proposition For The Professionals" is truly unforgettable.
  • The movie starred Burt Lancaster, Claudia Cardinale, Jack Palance, Lee Marvin, Robert Ryan, Ralph Bellamy and Woody Strode.
  • Stereo copies of this LP are extremely rare in any condition and this copy is near mint with just a few light marks and clear, crisp playback. The labels are in excellent condition with just a few spindle marks. The cover is near mint with no splits, tears, writing or cutouts. I have replaced the original inner sleeve with a Japanese audiophile quality inner sleeve.
