Description
This is the original album The Professionals (ex Sex Pistols Steve Jones and Paul Cook) recorded in 1980 but was rejected by Virgin (cat number V2167). It has been reissued in limited quantities since this time but only around TEN COPIES of the original album were pressed on white label and this is one of these. I obtained it around the time from a contact who worked at Virgin with the instruction never to play it to anyone or sell it until the music had been released at some point in the future.
This is NOT a reissue, it is one of the original 10 white label test pressings and the project was scrapped until the official 'I Didn't See It Coming' Professionals album that came out later.
The sleeve shows some signs of age with some very minor scuffing and creasing. The vinyl has one noticeable mark across 1 side but upon playing the record I found very little interferance. As the music is available on reissue CDs this is something for a Sex Pistols completist rather than a record that will be played regularly.
Because of the extreme rarity value of this item there is a very high reserve. If I can't get the price I want I'll keep it and am only selling it due to circumstances. I am only prepared to send this by an insured method hence the high international P + P. This is something you would not want to lose in the post.
