This is the killer 1st live lp from the genius that is Will Holland who plays guitar, bass, percussion and arranged AND produced this whole lp..!! WHAT..??? With the beautiful Alice Russel on the mic this has become on of the most loved and sort after funk lps to be released in recent times..!! The version of 4 Hero's "Hold It Down" that was originally intended as an instrumental by Will Holland has become a true killer classic on dancefloors all over the world..!! Alice Russell dropped in to lay some vocals over some of the other tunes on the lp and while she warmed up she sang the vocals that you hear on the finished cut in ONE TAKE..!!! You can feel the energy in every track on this lp.. Awesome..!!! The sound of funk as played in 2002, with the heart of the late sixties, early seventies and the "unpolished" sound that makes you wanna jump..!! All the drums were recorded in garages in and around Brighton..!!!!
