Description
I’m more of a “Meat Is Murder” guy myself, but this is widely considered their finest hour. Every article I think I’ve ever seen has the band themselves saying “Strangeways Here We Come” is their favorite, but again I think Queen is generally talked about as the unquestioned classic.
Record itself is great, there’s light crackling, noise in between songs and during very quiet parts like for example the beginning of “I Know It’s Over” you can hear light noise in the background. Other than that, it sounds really good. It’s a record, it’s not a CD no record is totally silent. You’re aware you’re listening to vinyl, but no background noise overpowers the music. Hardly played and in addition I cleaned it on a Record Doctor machine it sounds really good.
Spine has that ugly rip, there’s a little sticker residue, and a little dent on the back cover. but other than that, as seen in the pictures the gatefold sleeve and original inner are in good shape. Of course you get the iconic Stephen Wright band photo in the gatefold.
Very nice copy
