Description
Just recently I bought a massive collection of 60's and 70's LPs...some are in surprisingly immaculate condition, and some are not, but the original owner (a well-respected Australian vinyl hoarder) was a fastidious collector of the styles he loved - 60's beat/punk/garage, British invasion well-knowns [Beatles/Hollies/Dave Clark 5/Gerry & The Pacemakers/Zombies/Troggs/Rolling Stones, etc..], 70's West Coast sounds, pop-psych and he'd obviously forraged far and wide since there's a flurry of unique South American, New Zealand,Taiwanese, South African, Japanese releases amongst them all.
Here then, is one of the LPs from his collection:
ARTIST: The ROLLING STONES -
TITLE: "EXILE ON MAIN STREET" .
FORMAT: …vinyl double-LP…
LABEL: ROLLING STONES RECORDS (distributed here by WEA Records [Australia] Pty. Ltd.) .
CATALOGUE #: COC-2-2900 .
DATE OF RELEASE: 1972 .
PRESSED IN: AUSTRALIA .
ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?: Yes, it is...has both the 'collage' inner sleeves, but doesn't have the postcards.
CONDITION:
COVER: ( VG++ )...very nice...just has some edge scuffing as its worst blemish, with light foxing and the mild beginnings of ringwear as well (see pix)...
RECORD: ( M- )...Record One is M- (just a couple of very light scuffs only)...Record Two looks completely mint - as clean and pristine as the day it was pressed...
LABELS: (all 4 are MINT )...
If you have any concerns about the accuracy of my gradings, please check my feedback for the odd nice comment from some satisfied folk out there.... (and hopefully you may be able to join their ranks). Thanks for considering this item...Cheers, Jules.
