THE ROLLING STONES: ‘THEIR SATANIC MAJESTIES REQUEST’ – AN ORIGINAL 1967 UK FIRST ISSUE RARE GREEN DECCA RECORD LABEL STEREO VINYL LP TXS 103

Album Description and Condition:

RARE FIRST ISSUE rarely seen **STEREO** VINYL LP is on the traditional Green with Silver Print Decca Record Labels, with ‘Made in England’ printed to both sides of the record labels labels.

Both record labels are in superb Excellent condition, superb bright and undamaged record labels, showing only a few light signs of play to each centre spindle holes.

Side 1 stamped matrix: ZAL-8126-T2-5K and Side 2: ZAL 8127-T2-6K.
The mother stamper markings are side1, 1G and Side 2: 1CG.

Both sides of the Heavy Vinyl LP are in Very Good Plus condition, clean and bright vinyl surfaces that show light surface hairline scratches to both sides, none of which sound when played.


Audio Quality:

The album plays with great sound quality, with mild background crackle on some, not all tracks.

The Vinyl Disc comes in it’s original red inner bag, and is in Very Good Plus condition, there is a 5” seam split to the bottom edge, this was caused by the heavy vinyl disc, there are no tears to the bag.

And is protected in it’s original First Issue Gatefold Hologram image gatefold sleeve .

The sleeve is in superb Excellent Minus to Excellent condition, with a superb undamaged Hologram image on the front. The sleeve still retains its gloss shine to the front and reverse, with NO fading to the colours, and no signs of record indentation. There are NO seam splits to any of the edges, and just bumps to all 4 corners.

The inner gatefold part of the sleeve is in fine and undamaged Excellent condition.

The reverse panel of the sleeve is also undamaged, and is very clean, the spine edge is fine and all print legible.

This is a nice example of this rarer first issue stereo 1967 Rolling Stones Album complete with original inner bag.
