Description

"To the Citadel," by The Rain, released on Orangewood Records in Britain in the late 80's. Utterly classic album by this trio - fantastic harmonic jangle pop, in the vein of Friends, Nivens, Close Lobsters, Moss Poles, Razorcuts, and early Creation Records. The only album by tihs superb band, who later formed Clark Springs and released a brilliant single on Summershine. One of the best records of the early C86 era, never released on cd and rarely offered. Record in excellent condition, cover fine save for a couple small abrasions from sticker removal. Please note that my scanner cannot capture the entire breadth of the cover.
