Description
Superb UK guitar-based powerpop album from 1981 on the band’s own label, Flexible Records (no catalogue number stated on either the sleeve or the disc, but the run-out groove has FR001), consisting of 12 self-penned tracks. Pretty amateurish DIY packaging – apart from the lack of a catalogue number, the flimsy sleeve has no spine, and it’s printed back to front, so the front cover has the opening on the left hand side! Very rare indeed. It was cut at County Recording Services, where some of the rarest UK prog/psych private pressings were made a few years earlier. From its obscurity/look, I’d imagine that only a few copies were made, maybe just for distribution amongst family and friends?
