This recording comes direct from the vinyl copy you are now bidding on, straight out of my NAD amp, into my ZOOM H2 recorder, recording directly into MP3. When including these recordings for this purpose I make no audio tweaks in any way to the audio recording I have done, I do not alter the weight of the stylus, though I do use a fresh stylus, as, I'm sure we're all aware, is healthy to do anyway, very regularly!  
This incredibly scarce Punk/Powerpop 7" I'm sure would be an even more hugely sought after slab of vinyl if more people knew of it's existence! Both sides are great, and it's a wrench to part with this one, really is one of my favourites of that KBD Powerpop sound. But I need to cut back my collection for travelling purposes, and sadly this is a casualty of this! But for one lucky bidder this means this 7" rarity that almost NEVER comes up (there's only 1 up on Popsike and collectersfrenzy etc...), I'll just have to make do with the recording I've made of this record in future! This copy comes with a "Keep in touch with... The Relatives xxxx" black and white sticker (never been used, still on backing), which I've never seen before, but it must have been with this record, as the "The Relatives" font on both the front cover and sticker are just the same... As A Child is a great original track, as is Say Goodbye To Your Body, though the latter is more like 3 songs in one! Really is a must for a Punk/Powerpop collection, and in keeping with the zeitgeist of the times, this is a "Home-made" style xeroxed collage on the front cover, and messy typewriter lyrics typed on the rear (also xeroxed) then this striking sleeve is stapled together at the top! Very Punk! Please bear in mind that this sleeve is about 1 and a half inches higher than most singles, and so will probably stick out of your collection, this copy's sleeve has sustained a minor amount of shelfwear to the extended inch, but, surprisingly little for the amount it sticks out! Just slight roll-over of the top inch and a bit of fraying of the thick paper, all the staples (miraculously!) have remained firm and holding it together!   Record Grading: Visually: VG+ ,would be higher but for a a couple of VERY light hairline surface marks on the AA side, and 1 area of surface scuffs (again very very light, but feathers-away some of the lovely sheen of this lovely lump of vinyl!) Audibly I leave the grading to yourselves!    Labels: EX As they are printed plastic not paper labels, very little can happen to them, apart from actual abbrasion or writing, neither of which has happened here! Perfect! Sleeve: VG to VG+ depending on how cruel one wants to be! If it were a normal sized sleeve it'd easily be VG+, however, as it's got the extra inch and a half, about an inch roll-over has occurred to the top edge (and a bit of paper fraying has happened as a result of the same protrudence!)But clean, free of stains/writing etc. Slight corner folds, great crisp opening mouth, and no wear-throughs to any edges! The record is (as it always was) housed in a plain die-cut inner sleeve, this is very clean, and has protected the record beautifully from the stapled rough paper DIY outer sleeve! Insert: EX- unused crisp sticker, with "Fasson FasPrint" sticker backing card! Perfect, but for the top left corner having been folded about 3mm, but this hasn't brought it away from the backing... Lovely!
