I purchased this in the mid 1980s.
The cover still has the original shrink wrap on it, so it's in pretty good condition. There are six small pieces of yellowed adhesive tape holding the slit open edge of the shrink wrap to the cover opening. Please see photos.
It hasn't been played very much. (Used to record onto cassette tapes and listen to them instead of the vinyl.) The vinyl is dusty. Unfortunately, I haven't had a working turntable since the early 1990s, so I can't tell how it plays. Judging by the look of it, I doubt there are any issues.
Also unfortunately, it's been in a basement for ten years or so and the cardboard has picked up a musty smell.
I'm not a vinyl collector, so I've graded this using the Goldmine Standard guidelines.
"VG+ records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as telltale marks around the center hole, but repeated playing has not misshapen the hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. VG+ covers should have only minor wear."
Tempted to grade the vinyl as NM, but as I've said, I can't play it to be sure.
