Description

The Revolutionaires _Dread at the Controls Dub_ side one 1. "Double Bubble" 2. "Michael Campbell Theme" 3. "The Meek Dub" 4. "Mixed Up Stuff" 5. "Bad Company" side two 1. "Dread at the Controls" 2. "Loving Sounds" 3. "Hot Steppers" 4. "Midnight Clappers" 5. "Golden Locks" 12 inch, 33 1/3 RPM long playing record. Gussie Roots Sounds, distributed by Hawkeye Records, 1978. Produced by Augustus Clarke for Gussie Productions. Artwork by Orville "Bagga" Case. Record NM, sleeve VG-. Get this: The Revolutionaires are not credited anywhere on the sleeve or label. My reference that this is The Revolutionaires: http://rootsdub.free.fr/Revolutionaries-disco.htm. There is no copyright or production date listed, only a mark reading "Bagga '78" next to some artwork on the back cover. This record comes from a collection owned by a Kingston record producer (at least that is what was related to us by his supposed son who sold the collection to us in Ft. Myers). Judging by the label, the record was probably made in Jamaica, although the sleeve might be made in England.
