Here We Have a Fine Copy of The DISGUSTINGLY RARE Rhythm Rockers 45 on The Gaity Label From Minnesota. The Band Were From Lanesboro' and Released This Sole 45 in a Limited Run of Only 500 Copies Way Back in 1959.
Both Sides are What I Would Loosely Call "Garage Instrumentals"
CRISIS is a Tremendous Guitar Instro' Track Which Starts with A Twelve Bar Rhythm Intro' and Is Joined By Drums, Snare and Superb Distorted "Twangy" Lead as The Track Speeds up a Couple of Pitches. TOTALLY CLASSIC!
TWANG Another Instro,' And Could Not Sound Any More Like A CRAMPS Track Than THIS !!! With Primitive Drums, Minor Chords, Excellent Use of Echo and Some Wicked Tremelo Work. ANOTHER ABSOLUTE GEM!
Most if Not All of The Gaity Releases Were in Limited Runs of 500 or Less. Hence Their Rocking Horse Poo Rarity Today!!!
This is ONE OF THE MOST DESIRABLE 45s ON THE LABEL Due to The Totally Superb Quality of Both Tracks and is Not Likely to Ever Turn Up Again.
Like Many of My Auction Items, A Reference to This 45 Can Be Found in Tom Tourvilles Books. This Can Be Found in "Minnesota Rocked - The 60s". Indeed, This Copy Came From One of The "Midwest Publications" Auctions Over 15 Years Ago.
