Anyone looking for the ultimate copy could do a lot worse than paying attention to this one>>>>
An original Mono 1st press of SOULED OUT on UK Verve from early 1968. Matrix A1/B1. Note that 1st pressing should mention 'Sold In The UK' on the labels. If you're looking for the earliest possible copy - that would be the 1G/1G copy [as we have here]. This copy is from the 1st stamper ever produced by EMI under the Gramophone sequence. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover with flipbacks exposed. We also have the original 'patent applied for ' inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) A super copy which has seen very light careful use down the years. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Quite the perfect copy - the audio is so transparent it sounds like they're in the same room. Intros and inbetweens are perfectly quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. I can't really pick fault at all. Plays nigh on perfect all the way through. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Vg+) Not up to the standard of the vinyl, but still respectable. Lovely clean and flat front with just a couple of thumbnails and a some left over sticker residue top right. The rear has tanned a little - not too bad though. Very little edge wear. The text on the spine is fully legible - with just some slight grubbiness. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) Aged, but no splits.
