I have an original Mono UK first press of:

The Rolling Stones-Between the buttons (1967)
on Red Decca LK4352
side 1 matrix: XARL-7644-6A
Side 2 matrix: XARL-7645-4A


The Record, Both sides Look VG
 Both sides play in EX condition
the record is marked in various places both sides, which do not effect play and there is one small scratch right at the end going into the end grooves on side 2 which cause a couple of light ticks other wise in lovely condition with lots of shine left to the vinyl on both sides.

The Cover is in VG+ conditions
There is writing on the back cover (please see photo)
a few marks here and there but overall very clean with a strong spine, a very good Cover
the cover is of the non flip back variety


The labels both sides are VG+
labels have some spindle marks but apart from that are in great shape

A word about myself

I am a record collector specializing in 1960’s and 70’s. Rock, psychedelia,Folk Rock, Avante garde, and krautRock.

My Hifi consists of A Linn Axis turntable fitted with a Linn Basik plus tone arm  with an Ortofon 520mk 11 cartridge, I listen to my records through a pair of Rogers LS7’s.

I listen to all the records I sell on this setup, and most records I sell are from my own collection, I wouldn’t sell anything that I wouldn’t be happy to own my self or play on my Hifi, I don’t own or sell crackly or knackered records, I am aware the Audiophile quality stylus are very expensive and no one wants to chip a stylus by playing knackered records.

I Use the Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:

Please note I will use + and – to denote grades in-between the ones mentioned below.

I grade the cover,labels and record separately

"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

 Please note: I only use quality record mailers with two cardboard inserts

Postage in the UK is £2.50 for the first single record, in Europe is £4.50 for the first record, Rest of World is £7.00 for first record. Any more LP"s purchased are an extra 1.50 pounds each to anywhere. these postage costs apply apart from in the case where the record needs to be insured for the full value
