Description

Artist: The Rolling Stones
Title: Aftermath

I bought this as part of a collection from an old friend of mine. He purchased the albums from new and has always carefully stored and cared for his records. He bought the discs to play them, so there is evidence that they have been played but they are still well preserved examples of rare and collectable LP's.

Label:unboxed DECCA
?Year: issued 1966
Country: UK
Code:  SKL 4786
Stereo
Matrix / Runout (Side A): XZAL-7209-5W
Matrix / Runout (Side B):  XZAL-7210-5W

The Sleeve: The photographs highlight the WORSE aspects of the sleeve. The printed by Robert Stace, laminated with Clarifoil, is remarkably well preserved with no major flaws and must rank as close to excellent. There is a small amount of laminate lifting towards the spine.

The Labels:  The labels are excellent.

The Record: Side one has only minimal visible signs of wear. There are no obvious scratches or significant defects. Playback is strong with occasional minor background noise. Side two has only minimal visible signs of wear. The are no obvious scratches or significant defects.  Playback is strong with some minor background noise. A conservative grade would be VG+.

Play testing is notoriously subjective -  it is not my intention to mislead or over-grade so I offer a money back guarantee.

The inner sleeve is (I think) original and is in excellent condition.

IMPORTANT: I offer a NO QUIBBLE money back GUARANTEE. If you have any issues, or disagree with my description please contact me. I accept returns and will compensate you for return postage if I have inadvertently misdescribed this listing.

Payment: paypal is prefered but I am willing to accept cheques (although there will be a delay to allow clearance). I can also take card payments or Moneygrams.

Postage and packing costs:
UK is £3.99
Europe £7.50
Outside Europe £9.99
I will upgrade, free of charge, to signed for delivery for all LP's realising £30 or over.

My Guarantee:

I have described the record as accurately as possible. But, I’m not infallible; at least that’s what my wife says. If you have an issue, please contact me before leaving feedback as I'm willing to work towards resolving any potential problem.

A bit about me:

It was 1960: I was eight. My cousin joined the Air Force and gave me his collection of 45’s: a great selection including Elvis and Buddy Holly. Usurping the family Dansette, I became well and truly hooked. By 1964/5 I was also seeing some of my favourite artist live. At the age of 11 I joined by first band playing music on and off over the subsequent years that also gave me experience of working in recording studios. Music is in my blood.
Over the last few years I have been selling on EBay and Amazon and accrued feedback that reflects a commitment to customer service and honesty.

What customers say:

Usually I'm lazy and can't be bothered to leave feedback. But I definitely will in this case. Someone who can actually grade properly? A real rarity. Truly nice item I'll definitely be keeping. Heavy duty....

Received LP today. Very well packaged. It certainly is in remarkable condition. I've never seen one like this in 40 years of collecting. Looks like it was kept in a vault since it was released. Like buying it new in 1967. Incredible.

I literally could not be happier with the despatch, packing and delivery of my item, which exceeded all expectation. The album itself was in pristine condition, absolutely as described, and had obviously been treated with great care during it's time with PiC. Unreservedly recommended.

Record received quickly and in excellent condition as advertised + well protected from damage in transit. No problems whatsoever, a highly recommended vendor.
Pigg in clover have got to be the quickest service I've received - do they sleep - well pleased and will certainly use again.

Super fast Shipping, very nicely packed and perfect item, as described. Another great buy from pigginclover, look forward to the next purchase! A++++

The quality of the vinyl is great. - And it arrived almost a week before I was told it would. I'm highly recommending this seller.
