Description

An original 1st mono press of BB on the UK Decca label from 1968. Matrix 6A/2A. Stampers 1UH/1CK. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original G&L mono gatefold cover. Also included is the original Decca inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side, and one superficial trail - nothing heavy or sinister looking at all. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. It's a beautiful player that's for sure you and solid proof of just how darn good these original mono copies sound. The audio is deep and rich...it's an absolute tour-de-force. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Irrespective of whether its the acoustic tracks or the full-on big scale moments this LP will deliver a tremendous clean and assured rendition. Interference is very minor and infrequent. I could only detect a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. You can forget looking for another copy....because, from an audio perspective, ....THIS IS THE COPY TO GO FOR>!
Cover (Ex) In beautiful condition and good to see that iconic front looking so nice. It is totally devoid of ageing and looks very impressive indeed. The rear looks equally good  - very nice and flat without creasing or markings. The interior looks great too - no problems at all. Edge wear is very light and the spine looks very nice with text all legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A beautiful looking specimen by any standard.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing and a bit of creasing. But no splits or markings.
